I always remember the movie Diner, not because of how good it is, but because I watched it the night O.J. Simpson killed his wife and jumped into his Bronco sending the police on a chase, which I also watched. I had just turned 16.
I rode my bike to West Coast Video (we don’t get our driver’s licenses til 17 in NJ), picked this out (on VHS), and sat in my friend Felicia’s basement, where I spent a lot of time back then.
It was a pretty memorable night.
